The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a full-time Store Manager to lead one of our stores in Berlin. This is a challenging yet well-supported leadership position where you will play a key role in shaping local operations and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

As a Store Manager, you will work closely with your team, including 2–4 Shift Leads, supporting their development and ensuring smooth day-to-day store operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing store team.
• Creating a positive work environment where colleagues can succeed and enjoy their work.
• Planning and organizing team-building activities and events.
• Supporting Shift Leads with the tools, knowledge, and guidance needed to run daily operations efficiently.
• Managing recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee development.
• Providing ongoing feedback and conducting biannual performance and development reviews.
• Continuously improving store operations in collaboration with the Operations Team.
• Participating in internal and external meetings.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure the right product selection and availability.
• Monitoring inventory, stock levels, product freshness, and shrinkage.
• Reducing food waste and maintaining operational efficiency.
• Managing shift schedules and workforce planning.
• Handling incoming goods and store ordering processes.
• Ensuring the store has all necessary equipment, supplies, and resources to support growth.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Previous leadership experience with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Experience working in a grocery store or retail environment (preferred).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• A proactive, service-oriented mindset.
• A positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm for fast-paced environments.
• Flexibility to work daytime, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• German language skills are considered an advantage.
