The Opportunity

Adobe is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build the platform that powers Adobe Experience Platform’s Generative AI capabilities. Partnering with other business units, you will build products that transform how companies approach audience creation, journey optimization, and personalization at scale.

You will join a diverse, lively group of engineers and scientists long established in the machine learning space. The work is dynamic, fast-paced, creative, collaborative, and data-driven.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and build solutions to implement functionality across multiple services and teams.
  • Develop comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions for anomaly detection.
  • Design highly available, horizontally scalable services.
  • Participate in all aspects of software development, including design, coding, code review, testing, refactoring, bug fixing, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality product features.
  • Build fast prototypes of ideas and concepts to validate innovative approaches.
  • Experiment with emerging technologies in a fast-paced environment.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Proven programming skills with extensive experience in Java and Python.
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres) and NoSQL datastores (Redis, ElasticSearch, Snowflake).
  • Proficiency in designing and building microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience deploying and managing infrastructure in public clouds (Azure / AWS).
  • High level of ownership across the entire SDLC: design, build, test, deploy, and support production services.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Good to Have

  • Real-world experience working with Generative AI.
  • Experience with Machine Learning infrastructure and applications.

Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and pay varies based on those markets.

The U.S. pay range for this position is $153,600 – $286,600 annually. Pay within this range depends on work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.

For sales roles, compensation includes total target compensation (TTC = base + commission). For non-sales roles, compensation includes base salary and participation in Adobe’s Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). Certain roles may also be eligible for long-term incentives such as new hire equity awards.
