Software Developer | Aerospace (m/f/x)

Tasks

• Creation of 3D content for autostereoscopic displays, including tactical maps and flight simulations of mission scenarios
• Implementation of interactive 2D cockpit display content in the Unreal Engine
• Optimizing the performance and display of 3D and 2D content while considering aviation-specific requirements
• Independent analysis and resolution of technical issues during software development
• Collaboration and coordination within the team to ensure consistent UI/UX integration

Skills

• Completed studies (Bachelor or higher) in electrical engineering, electronics, or a comparable field
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software development, ideally in aviation or simulation technology
• Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine, stereo camera technology, flight simulation, maps/landscapes, and performance optimization
• Experience in UI/UX design; Python knowledge is an advantage
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and coordination skills
• Very good German and good English skills
