About the Role

As a Senior Value Engineer, you will act as a trusted advisor, helping customers achieve their strategic goals and realize significant value using the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform.

You will take full responsibility for the end-to-end customer value journey, including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal. Your responsibilities will include translating customer objectives into value assessments and proof-of-value projects, developing tailored business cases and demonstrations, facilitating value workshops, and engaging senior stakeholders to deliver measurable results and secure long-term partnerships.

The Role

You will spearhead our mission to drive data-driven business transformation for our customers. Working in partnership with Celonis Sales Teams, you will own the end-to-end customer value journey and serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers achieve their strategic objectives through the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform.

In collaboration with our partners and Celonis Services, you will drive measurable business impact across processes and industries while accelerating platform adoption. You will combine deep process and industry expertise with proven consulting capabilities and strong analytical skills at one of the world’s fastest-growing technology companies.

Language requirement: Native-level German proficiency is required. You must be able to lead customer workshops, deliver executive presentations, and manage stakeholder interactions confidently in German.

The Work You’ll Do

Identify and Frame Value

• Discover and translate customers’ strategic priorities into high-impact Celonis use cases.
• Build demonstrations and business cases using industry benchmarks and best practices to win new customers.
• Conduct Value Assessments or Proof-of-Value projects and communicate value opportunities and strategic roadmaps to C-level executives.

Realize Value

• Facilitate business value workshops and use Celonis to identify and qualify opportunities for process improvement.
• Identify improvement measures across core business functions and initiate improvement actions and enterprise-wide change initiatives.
• Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives.

Scale Value

• Own the end-to-end customer value journey, including landing, expansion, adoption, and renewal.
• Develop strategic expansion roadmaps that embed Celonis Process Intelligence as a strategic business transformation platform within customer organizations, driving adoption and growth.
• Provide feedback to product development teams to enhance the Celonis Platform and applications based on emerging use cases.

The Qualifications You Need

• Customer Value: Experience in an analytical role focused on demonstrating or securing value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and software deployment. Ideally, you have worked in a customer-facing role in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, IT Consulting, or Management Consulting with a business software, SaaS provider, or consultancy. Alternatively, you may have experience in an enterprise in-house role, such as a Center of Excellence for data mining, analytics, or intelligence.
• Data, Analytics, Applications, and IT: Good knowledge of business software and SaaS applications, such as SAP. Experience implementing RPA or BI tools, building dashboards, applications, and action flows, and working with Python and/or SQL. Experience collaborating with IT teams is also important.
• Process Improvement and Value Realization: Experience identifying business process improvement use cases, implementing improvement measures, acting as a change agent, and training users or process owners to realize value.
• Project Management: Experience planning and managing project scope, expectations, and timelines. You should be comfortable managing multiple projects across aligned accounts at different stages of the value journey and leveraging partners from the Celonis ecosystem whenever possible.
• Executive Stakeholder Management: Experience preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Business Domain Expertise: Understanding of Finance and/or Supply Chain, as well as strategic transformation initiatives such as Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation.
• Industry Expertise: Ideally, expertise in one or more industries, such as Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer Goods, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, or Chemicals, with the ability to understand industry trends and strategic opportunities.
• Education: A degree in Technology and Management, Industrial or Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable field.
• German Language Skills: Native-level or near-native German proficiency, both written and spoken, with the ability to engage German-speaking customers confidently, facilitate workshops, and present to executive stakeholders.
