Senior UI Designer – Design Systems (f/m/d)

At justtrack we build a SaaS business that provides app and mobile game publishers an attractive toolset to handle their entire global marketing growth process. Starting from managing, analyzing, and automating marketing processes justtrack enables gathering deep mobile product insights.

As a Senior UI Designer with a focus on Design Systems, you will play a crucial role in shaping and maintaining a cohesive design language across our SaaS product. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, refine, and implement a comprehensive design system. On regular occasions you will also collaborate closely with product teams to create new features, from ideation to implementation.

This role reports to the Lead UX/UI Designer.

Key responsibilities:

• Design System Development: Build and maintain a robust, scalable design system that standardizes UI components, patterns, and visual styles across all justtrack products.
• UI Design: Create intuitive, visually compelling UI designs that enhance the usability and aesthetic appeal of our software.
• Component Library Management: Develop and manage a library of reusable components to ensure consistency and efficiency in the design and development process.
• Stakeholder Management: Work closely with designers, product leads, and developers to ensure that design system components are effectively implemented as intended and aligned with user needs.
• Documentation & Guidelines: Document design decisions, create usage guidelines, and ensure that the design system is easily accessible to the wider team.
• Iterate & Evolve: Continuously refine and evolve the design system based on feedback, new design trends, and product needs.
• Advocate for best practices: Champion best practices in UI design and design systems, ensuring that all products adhere to the latest industry standards.

What you’ll bring / Your qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design or a related field, with a focus on design systems.
• Design System Expertise: Proven experience in building and maintaining scalable design systems for digital products, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
• UI Design Skills: Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, capable of creating polished, user-centered interfaces that align with brand identity and usability standards.
• Self-motivation & Collaboration: Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, ambiguous work environment, with the ability to manage projects both independently and as part of a team.
• Strategic Thinking: Proficiency in strategic thinking, enabling the alignment of design decisions with overarching business objectives and product vision.
• Tools Knowledge: Expertise in Figma is essential. Experience with other design and prototyping tools such as Sketch or ProtoPie is a plus.
• Optional: Previous experience in designing for a complex SaaS product such as an analytics-focused or data visualization environment.
• Optional: Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g. React) and component development tools (e.g. Storybook).
