Senior Solutions Engineer, Enterprise Automation

About the Role

Foxit’s Enterprise Automation business is rapidly scaling, with more customers, larger deployments,
and an expanding product portfolio. We are hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer to act as a parallel owner
and direct backup for mission-critical technical responsibilities across Rendition Server and related products.

This role is ideally based in Berlin (EMEA) and supports customers, partners, and internal teams globally.

Role Overview

• Drive technical success across pre-sales and post-sales engagements
• Own mission-critical enterprise environments
• Collaborate with global teams across EMEA, Americas, and APAC
• Support high-scale document processing systems

Key Responsibilities

1) Pre-Sales Technical Leadership (Rendition Server)

• Partner with Sales teams across EMEA, US, and APAC to drive technical wins
• Support closed markets (Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea)
• Enable channel partners, system integrators, and resellers
• Lead technical discovery, architecture discussions, and product demos
• Own RFP and tender technical responses
• Support customer trials (6 weeks to 6 months)

2) Post-Sales & Production Ownership

• Own post-sales technical relationships for ~55 enterprise customers globally
• Support direct and partner-led deployments
• Act as escalation point for mission-critical production environments
• Support large-scale systems processing millions to billions of pages annually
• Engage customers via Salesforce, email, and direct communication

3) Product Partnership (Enterprise Automation)

• Collaborate with Product Management on planning and prioritization
• Support integration across Rendition Server, Smart Redact Server, and IDP
• Participate in security audits, architecture reviews, and feature discussions

4) Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) Enablement

• Identify high-potential customers and use cases
• Participate in internal strategy and planning
• Lead customer engagements as technical solution owner
• Position IDP as an enterprise solution in presentations

Optional Areas (Nice to Have)

• Support PDF Compressor escalations and renewals
• Provide advanced support for legacy CVision products (OpenText integrations)
• Assist engineering teams with debugging and validation
• Collaborate with vendors (e.g., Callas, Tungsten)
• Support Finance and Marketing with technical insights

Requirements

• Experience in PDF, document management, and document workflows
• Proven track record in pre-sales and post-sales technical roles
• Ability to support mission-critical, high-volume environments
• Strong understanding of server architectures (on-prem, cloud, hybrid)
• Excellent communication with customers and stakeholders
• Proficiency in German
• Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally

• Location: Berlin (EMEA preferred)
• Global coverage across EMEA, Americas, and APAC
• Travel: Occasional travel for strategic engagements
