Senior Product Owner – Cybersecurity

Location: Flexible / Hybrid (Office in Germany)

About the Role

At Myra Security, we develop digital, scalable products that protect our customers against cyber threats—at all times. As a Senior Product Owner, you’ll take ownership of both enhancing our existing cybersecurity solutions and shaping new, cutting-edge products. You’ll work at the intersection of innovation and execution, driving a user-centric vision backed by technical excellence.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage the full product lifecycle: discovery, design, development, testing, and post-launch support
• Understand customer needs and pain points to build features that solve real-world problems
• Own the vision, strategy, and priorities for your product in collaboration with fellow Product Owners
• Partner closely with Engineering, UX, DevOps, Sales, and Customer Success to build exceptional B2B cybersecurity solutions
• Negotiate timelines, scope, and deliverables with internal and external stakeholders
• Conduct market and competitive research to ensure our products stay ahead of industry trends
• Define and validate features through data analysis, usability testing, and A/B experiments
• Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria from stakeholder requirements

Your Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Owner in agile development environments
• Background in building SaaS products within a B2B context
• Cybersecurity domain knowledge including:
  • OWASP Top 10, SSDLC, SAST/DAST tools
  • Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, TLS/SSL, SIEM
  • Networking protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS
• Understanding of compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR)
• Bonus: Technical background in cybersecurity, software engineering, or networking
• Bonus: Certifications such as CSPO, CISSP, CEH, or Security+
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data-driven decision-making
• Excellent communication skills in English (German a plus)
• Self-starter with a proactive, pragmatic, and collaborative mindset
