(Senior) Procurement Manager / Buyer (m/f/d)

As an ambitious procurement expert, this position offers you an exciting opportunity to contribute your skills in a fast-growing and dynamic company. You will support the procurement of raw materials and ensure their delivery in the highest quality and at competitive prices.

Your Tasks

• Strategic Procurement: Responsible for buying both raw materials and finished product categories to achieve cost savings, improve quality, and reduce risks.
• Supplier Development: Select and qualify new suppliers, products, and materials.
• Contract Negotiations: Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contractual agreements with suppliers.
• Cost Optimization: Lead cost reduction initiatives, including alternative sourcing, specification simplification, and packaging harmonization.
• Sourcing Activities: Manage RFIs, RFQs, and negotiations without compromising on quality.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with co-manufacturers and supply partners.
• Compliance: Ensure supplier adherence to food safety, sustainability, and legal requirements.
• Performance Monitoring: Track supplier performance and maintain accurate data and reporting.

Your Profile

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in packaged goods and co-pack sourcing, ideally with global raw material sourcing exposure.
• Degree in business administration, economics, or similar field, or equivalent vocational training.
• Based in Berlin or surrounding area and enjoy working on-site at our headquarters in Schöneberg.
• Excellent English skills; German is a plus.
• Strategic, data-driven thinker with strong analytical skills.
• Highly structured and organized; able to manage complex tasks and projects.
• Hands-on mentality and strong assertiveness.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills for building positive working relationships.
