(Senior) Machine Learning Engineer

About the Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will take ownership of our machine learning pipeline and help develop innovative, data-driven applications for the tourism industry.

You will work on our ML models while continuously expanding and improving the foundation of our machine learning ecosystem. Your contributions will play a key role in the success of Pricenow and our products in Pricing, Data Analytics, and e-Commerce.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the integration, optimization, and orchestration of machine learning models to enhance forecasting capabilities, especially in dynamic pricing applications
• Design and evolve the architecture of our end-to-end ML pipelines with a strong focus on automation, reproducibility, and scalability
• Shape the structure and schema of our machine learning landscape
• Contribute actively to strategic, data-driven decision-making processes
• Continuously improve model performance, deployment workflows, and infrastructure

Your Profile

• 3+ years of professional experience as an ML Engineer
• University degree (FH/Uni) in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Strong understanding of end-to-end machine learning processes
• Solid software engineering skills with experience building ML pipelines in Python
• Strong analytical and statistical skills to justify model choices and optimizations
• Experience with CI/CD and Cloud Computing
• Deep understanding of MLOps principles and lifecycle automation
• Experience with experiment tracking, model serving, and inference pipelines
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments
• Team-oriented, innovative, agile mindset with strong ownership
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)

Nice to Have

• Experience in time-series forecasting, reinforcement learning, or recommender systems
• Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Argo)
• Experience in Data Warehousing
