Your Tasks

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer & Data Engineer (m/f/d), you take on a technical leadership role at the heart of AI development. You don’t just develop algorithms—you shape the entire intelligent ecosystem and make key architectural decisions regarding models, frameworks, and data infrastructures.

Architectural Leadership & Model Development

  • Lead the design of state-of-the-art machine learning models, especially in the areas of computer vision and sensor fusion
  • Define standards for model implementation and training

Advanced MLOps & Integration

  • Strategically advance the development of MLOps pipelines
  • Ensure seamless and automated integration of models and data processes into critical systems

Strategic Data Infrastructure

  • Design and build highly scalable and robust ETL/ELT data pipelines
  • Enable real-time processing of large volumes of multimodal sensor data

Responsibility for the Data Platform

  • Take full ownership of the design and optimization of the central data platform (data lake/warehouse)
  • Ensure data availability, quality, and security

Technical Mentoring & Excellence

  • Coach and mentor junior engineers to elevate team performance
  • Demonstrate high code quality and establish engineering best practices

Your Profile

  • Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Several years of hands-on experience designing and building large-scale, mission-critical ML systems
  • Strong track record in deep learning model development and advanced data engineering
  • Excellent command of Python and SQL, with deep expertise in ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch) and data tools (e.g., Spark, Databricks)
  • Experience mentoring team members and a passion for raising technical standards
  • Ability to translate complex strategic goals into robust technical architectures
  • C1-level English proficiency
