About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Key Account Manager to join our Partner Success team in Cologne. In this role, you’ll manage and grow strategic relationships with key partners, acting as a trusted advisor while driving long-term business success.

You’ll build strong, multi-level partnerships, identify growth opportunities, resolve operational challenges, and collaborate across teams to ensure an outstanding partner experience. This position offers a high level of autonomy, allowing you to make strategic decisions that directly influence partner success and business growth.

Note: Internally, this position is titled Partner Account Manager, while Senior Key Account Manager is used externally to align with the German market.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key partners through meetings, calls, emails, and on-site visits.
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels, including senior decision-makers and C-level executives.
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational and strategic challenges throughout the partner lifecycle.
  • Negotiate and secure exclusive partnership agreements to achieve business objectives.
  • Improve the partner and customer experience by resolving integration, booking, and operational issues.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to align on strategic priorities and support partner success.
  • Analyse partner performance using data insights to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen partner engagement and long-term satisfaction.

What You’ll Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of experience in Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, or a related commercial role.
  • Languages: Fluent German and business-level English are required.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
  • Commercial Skills: Strong understanding of commercial negotiations and pricing strategies.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, identify operational challenges, and develop effective solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and Google Workspace.
  • Working Style: Resilient, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Nice to Have: Experience within the fitness or wellbeing industry, along with familiarity with Salesforce and Metabase.
