applike is seeking an experienced and proactive HR professional to drive our HR solutions in alignment with business goals. As a (Senior) HR Manager, you’ll support 1–2 of our portfolio companies, primarily focused on tech, mobile gaming, and user acquisition.

You’ll act as the primary HR contact for employees and leadership, overseeing the full employee lifecycle. Your responsibilities span operational HR tasks, performance culture, skills development, workforce planning, and organizational design — working closely with the Head of HR and business leaders.

What You Will Do

  • HR Operations & Administration: Handle daily HR tasks such as relocations, visas, promotions, L&D, reporting, and documentation.
  • Onboarding: Deliver a seamless and best-in-class onboarding experience.
  • Partner with Leadership & Employees:
    • Drive a high-performance culture and employee engagement.
    • Provide expert advice on sensitive employee relations issues.
    • Identify skill gaps and lead development initiatives with leadership.
    • Support change initiatives and ensure clear communication and alignment.
    • Coach managers to elevate leadership capabilities and people practices.
  • HR Projects: Collaborate on group-wide HR projects to improve employee experience and operational excellence.
  • Data & Systems: Maintain accurate HR data using HRIS (Personio), streamline workflows, and support payroll and knowledge sharing.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of HR experience with strong expertise in HR operations, business partnering, or organizational development.
  • Experience in fast-paced, tech-driven environments — ideally mobile or gaming sectors.
  • Excellent knowledge of German labor law and lifecycle HR processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across varied organizational needs.
  • Proven adaptability and agility in dynamic, scaling organizations.
  • Intercultural competence and experience working with international teams.
  • Confident, articulate communicator across all levels, including external partners.
  • Comfortable with HR systems and data-driven decision-making (ideally Personio).
  • Business fluency in English; German fluency is a plus.
