Senior Frontend / Full-Stack Software Engineer – Fulfillment Team (Munich)

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend / Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our Fulfillment team in Munich. Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications and components using React, Next.js, and related technologies, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions across the full development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing codebases to enhance performance and scalability.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services seamlessly, staying up to date with the latest web development trends.
• Document code and processes thoroughly for future reference, following security best practices to ensure application integrity.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, and contribute to architectural and technology decisions within the team.

Your Profile

• At least 6 years of experience as a software developer.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and understanding of the latest JavaScript standards (ES6).
• Proficiency with React and Next.js; familiarity with Node.js is a plus.
• Strong expertise in HTML5 and CSS3 (SASS).
• Optional knowledge of AWS technologies such as DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and both relational and NoSQL databases — or similar experience with Google Cloud or Azure.
• General understanding of building and working with REST APIs, GraphQL, Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), and microservice architectures.
• Logical, analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a structured, target-oriented mindset.
• Passion for clean code, testing (unit/integration), and maintaining solid documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with GitLab, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bonus: Experience with GraphQL federation and Supergraph concepts.
• Excellent English communication skills.
