About the Role

As a Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping Scalable Capital’s fully vertically integrated investment and banking platform. You will design and develop intuitive, scalable, and high-performing user interfaces that support critical financial operations, including transaction monitoring, operational workflows, and corporate action management.

Our frontend ecosystem is built with React and TypeScript, emphasizing component reuse, scalable design systems, and maintainable, testable architecture.

You will collaborate closely with backend engineers, platform teams, and internal stakeholders to transform complex workflows into elegant user experiences that drive operational efficiency and business scalability.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable frontend applications using modern technologies and engineering best practices.
• Participate in agile software development processes including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing.
• Work with cloud-native, DevOps-enabled infrastructure using AWS services such as ECS, Fargate, and Lambda.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and secure code with a strong focus on quality and reliability.
• Deliver production-ready features that create measurable business value.
• Contribute to improving engineering standards, processes, and development practices across the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design intuitive and accessible user experiences.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional experience in frontend development using technologies such as:
  • TypeScript
  • React
  • Next.js
  • Cypress
  • Webpack
  • Material Design
  • Express
  • HTML5 & CSS3
• Strong passion for exceptional UI/UX, accessibility, and web performance optimization.
• Ability to work independently and approach challenges with creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical thinking across both technical and product domains.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Practical experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Codex or similar coding agents is considered a plus.
