You will have a massive impact on a product at the forefront of AI – all while working side by side with passionate engineers in Berlin who set a high bar for code quality, product thinking, and continuous improvement.

Tasks

• Lead Frontend Development: Own the design and implementation of intuitive, responsive UIs for our AI knowledge platform using React and TypeScript.
• Feature Ownership: Work closely with product and design teams to translate user needs into robust features across web apps and browser extensions.
• Code Quality & Performance: Write maintainable code, conduct reviews, and optimize performance and scalability.
• Cross-Stack Collaboration: Integrate with backend APIs and contribute to full-stack architecture discussions.
• Innovation & Improvement: Enhance tooling and processes. Use AI tools like Cursor to accelerate complex tasks and experiment with new practices.
• Mentorship: Guide junior developers, share knowledge, and foster a high-performance engineering culture.

Requirements

Technical Skills & Experience

• React & TypeScript Expertise: 5+ years of experience building modern web apps; mastery of typed, scalable frontend code.
• Frontend Architecture: Deep knowledge of state management, component design, and scalable architectures.
• Quality Mindset: Passion for clean code, testing, and constructive feedback loops.
• User-Centric Approach: Empathy for UI/UX and commitment to intuitive interfaces.
• Debugging Skills: Strong problem-solving with dev tools and performance profiling.
• Tooling: Proficient with Git, CI/CD, and modern frontend workflows.
• Bonus – Full-Stack Familiarity: Comfortable navigating backend systems (Node.js, REST/GraphQL, cloud).
• Bonus – AI Tools: Experience or excitement about tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or AI-powered testing/debugging.
