What You’ll Do as Senior Forward Deployed Engineer
- Lead AI-Driven Deployments: Lead complex AI-driven Taktile deployments in production. Own technical delivery across multiple deployments, from scoping high-impact Agentic AI use cases to achieving stable production environments.
- Solve Real-World Challenges: Apply your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and creativity to help organizations address real-world challenges. Your day could include designing solution architectures, developing decision logic, deploying production-grade Generative AI agents, or aligning with key customer stakeholders, all while ensuring an outstanding customer experience and rapid time to value.
- Drive Project Delivery: Scope work effectively, sequence delivery, and proactively remove blockers. Make thoughtful trade-offs between scope, speed, and quality to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
- Influence Product Development: Partner with Taktile’s product management team to turn your understanding of customer needs into actionable product insights, directly influencing the evolution of Taktile’s product roadmap.
- Scale Engineering Best Practices: Develop reusable resources, best practices, and tools to share your expertise and help scale the forward deployed engineering function across the organization.
About You
- Relevant Experience: You bring 4–6 years of engineering or technical deployment experience, including customer-facing work.
- Technical Background: You have a strong technical background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Programming and Integrations: You write and review production-grade Python and SQL and have a strong command of REST API design and integrations.
- Problem-Solving Skills: You excel at breaking down complex problems and making quick, well-informed decisions, even under pressure.
- Stakeholder Management: You build strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders at all levels. Your curiosity and customer-centric mindset help you understand their needs and solve their challenges.
- Collaboration and Mindset: You’re collaborative, curious, and low-ego. You work effectively across product, engineering, and go-to-market (GTM) teams, bringing a genuine desire to understand customers’ businesses.
- Hybrid Working: You’re open to a hybrid work model and can work from our Berlin or London office at least three days per week.
Ideal Qualifications (But Not Required)
- Forward Deployed Engineering Experience: You have 4–6 years of experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solution Engineer, Implementation Specialist, or in an equivalent role within a B2B SaaS company.
- Financial Services AI: You have experience building AI applications within financial services.
- Machine Learning: You have experience applying and optimizing statistical and machine learning models to solve business problems.
- Cloud Platforms: You have experience with at least one of the major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
