Your Role

As a Senior Data Scientist in Pricing, you will lead the development of FINN’s pricing strategy and implement
state-of-the-art pricing algorithms. By leveraging advanced forecasting and optimization models, you will identify
demand and price trends, predict outcomes, and provide actionable insights to optimize our pricing approach.

Your Responsibilities

  • Generate Data-Driven Insights: Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and price elasticity
    to derive actionable insights.
  • Develop & Validate Proof-of-Concepts: Build and test new pricing strategies, validating their impact.
  • Design Advanced Pricing Algorithms: Create and maintain machine learning models for optimized pricing.
  • Shape Pricing Strategy: Enhance FINN’s pricing strategy to align with business objectives.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with data, tech, and business teams to ensure success.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in a relevant data field (PhD is a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience in e-commerce (car subscription/leasing, rental, airline, or hotel industry preferred).
  • Proven expertise in data analysis, time-series modeling, forecasting, and optimization.
  • Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, Spark, and GCP.
  • Experience in end-to-end implementation of pricing strategies and building proof-of-concepts.
  • Ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences, including C-level stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus).
