As the intelligence core of our engineering organization, our Data Science team doesn’t just deploy models—
we engineer the decision engine that powers our platform.

Our architecture is powered by a 1PB+ behavioral data lake, enabling deep learning models
that accurately predict individual user engagement and dynamically optimize reward structures.

Our machine learning stack includes:

• TensorFlow and PyTorch for model training
• NVIDIA Triton for sub-100ms inference
• End-to-end ownership of the ML lifecycle, from research and feature engineering to deployment and A/B testing

The supporting data infrastructure operates at significant scale:

• 2TB of data ingested in real time every day
• 100+ Airflow jobs and data pipelines
• 100,000+ predictions per second
• 100ms p99 latency for ML model inference

As a Data Engineer, you will build and maintain the infrastructure that powers this ecosystem,
including the Feature Store, data pipelines, data quality systems, and core data architecture.

Your Mission & Who We Are Looking For

• Data Engineering at ML Scale
  • 5+ years of data engineering experience on modern data stacks
  • Proven experience processing multiple TBs of data daily and thousands of events per second
• Flink is Your Default for Real-Time Processing
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Flink for stateful stream processing
  • Build and optimize real-time feature computation pipelines
  • Translate Data Science requirements into production-ready streaming systems
• Pipeline Optimization Expert
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in ETL workflows
  • Experience with high-volume batch processing and Kafka-based streaming systems
  • Ensure model freshness and support low-latency inference requirements
• Architectural Thinking
  • Design robust multi-layered architectures using dbt
  • Strong understanding of storage formats and Data Lakehouse concepts
  • Experience working with large-scale data lakes
  • Familiarity with Medallion Architecture is a plus
• Bridge Between Data Science and Backend Engineering
  • Collaborate closely with Data Scientists on low-latency ML systems
  • Help transform experimental models into production-ready solutions
  • Strong Java skills required
  • Go and/or Python experience is a plus
• Quality Ownership
  • Implement data validation, monitoring, and governance processes
  • Ensure data integrity in production environments
  • Experience with Airflow, Kubeflow, AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes is highly valued
