Data Analyst – Operations

As a Data Analyst – Operations, you’ll play a key role in driving business performance through data-driven insights. Working with advanced analytics tools and AI-assisted workflows, you’ll uncover trends, forecast outcomes, and deliver actionable recommendations that support strategic decision-making across our Operations organization.

This role is ideal for a proactive problem solver who thrives in a data-rich environment and is excited to leverage modern AI tools to maximize impact.

Your Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Operations data expert
    • Perform advanced analyses across Operations data to uncover actionable insights.
    • Support strategic decision-making across logistics, customer service, damage management, and risk assessment.
  • Own Operations data semantics
    • Define and maintain consistent business metrics and terminology across the Operations domain.
    • Enable accurate reporting, faster decision-making, and improved operational efficiency.
  • Create impactful data visualizations
    • Develop dashboards, reports, and compelling data stories that clearly communicate business performance.
    • Translate complex analytical findings into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Drive a data-driven culture
    • Collaborate with cross-functional business, technology, and data teams.
    • Continuously improve data models, reporting processes, and analytics capabilities.
    • Leverage AI-powered tools and workflows to enhance productivity and analytical outcomes.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in data analytics, ideally within Operations at a high-growth scale-up.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience building data models using dbt (Data Build Tool).
  • Experience developing dashboards and reports using Looker or a similar Business Intelligence platform.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and data interpretation.
  • Python programming skills with a strong desire to continue developing technical expertise.
  • Experience incorporating AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, or similar solutions into daily analytics workflows for coding, data exploration, and productivity.
  • Fluent English communication skills; German is considered an advantage.

Compensation

Annual Gross Salary: €73,000 – €84,000

  • In addition to the fixed salary, this role includes participation in FINN’s Virtual Stock Option Plan (VSOP).
  • Final compensation will be based on your experience, qualifications, and expertise.
  • The stated salary range reflects current market planning and may be adjusted over time.
