As a Cloud Security Engineer, you’ll join our Cloud Security Team, helping maintain industry-leading security standards while building scalable security solutions through automation. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to strengthen our cloud infrastructure and embed security into every stage of development.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Security

• Strengthen the security posture of HelloFresh’s cloud infrastructure and services.
• Protect cloud environments against evolving security threats and vulnerabilities.

DevSecOps & Automation

• Secure containers, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native platforms.
• Implement security guardrails aligned with DevSecOps best practices.
• Automate security processes and develop solutions that improve infrastructure security at scale.

Access Management

• Design and operate scalable processes for cloud access management.
• Maintain least-privilege access principles across cloud environments.

Collaboration & Mentoring

• Mentor colleagues and promote security best practices across engineering teams.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional squads to embed security into development workflows.

Security Operations

• Identify, remediate, and validate security issues across cloud infrastructure.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong understanding of cloud security, network security, and modern cyber threats.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and deployment models including:
• CI/CD pipelines
• Virtual machines
• Containers
• Kubernetes
• Serverless computing
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages.
• Experience working independently and within cross-functional engineering teams.
• Knowledge of security engineering, network security, security protocols, and applied cryptography.
