Who We’re Looking For
The TFS Cloud Engineering team is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on cloud governance. This role is perfect for an engineer with hands-on AWS experience who is passionate about automation, governance, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Governance Enforcement: Apply policies across cloud infrastructure (tagging, cost controls, security).
- Infrastructure Automation: Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules using Terraform and AWS CDK.
- CI/CD Governance: Collaborate with DevOps to enforce governance within CI/CD pipelines.
- Security & Compliance: Implement IAM policies, secure configurations, and monitoring aligned with PCI, HIPAA, FedRAMP, etc.
- FinOps Support: Help drive cost management through tagging compliance, usage analysis, and dashboards.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Develop dashboards and alerts for compliance, performance, and health tracking.
- Cloud Standards: Contribute to Toyota’s cloud governance documentation and enforcement.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with platform, security, and app teams to improve governance and resolve compliance issues.
What You Bring
- 5–7 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or platform operations.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, DynamoDB, Aurora).
- Proficiency with Terraform, AWS CDK, and scripting languages like Python.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, logging, and compliance practices.
- Experience with FinOps tools such as AWS Cost Explorer or CloudHealth.
- Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, AWS Config, CloudWatch).
- Dashboard creation using Quicksight, Power BI, or AWS Cost and Usage Reports (CUR).
