About the Role: Senior ABAP Developer (FSDM)

As a Senior ABAP Developer, you’ll be a core contributor to our flagship platform, FSDM (Financial Services Data Management) – a powerful data solution enabling real-time insights, enterprise financial reporting, and advanced analytics for our global banking clients.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software modules using ABAP and SAP technologies
• Work as part of an agile Scrum team in a cross-functional development environment
• Analyze and troubleshoot software issues efficiently
• Ensure platform scalability and performance optimization
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation

Location Flexibility

We offer flexible working arrangements. While proximity to our Walldorf office is preferred, remote work is also possible.

What You Bring

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Natural Sciences, or a related field
• Strong programming skills in ABAP and SQL
• Advanced knowledge of databases and operating systems
• Passion for coding and learning, especially in the fintech space
• Experience or interest in UI/UX design (Fiori knowledge is a plus)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
• Fluency in English; German is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial software development
• Background in S/4HANA FSDM, S/4HANA Finance, or banking applications
• Hands-on experience with agile development and DevOps principles
