As a QA Engineer, you’ll champion product quality at every step — designing automated tests and conducting rigorous daily manual testing — to keep us at the forefront of AI-powered productivity.

Tasks

App Quality Leadership

• Own the QA process for our web applications, extensions, and AI-powered features.
• Ensure every release meets our high standards for quality and user experience.

Test Authoring & Automation

• Design, write, and maintain manual and automated test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure critical paths are covered with robust automated test suites.

Manual Testing Excellence

• Conduct thorough daily manual testing of key user flows and app features.
• Identify edge cases and regressions, providing clear, actionable bug reports.

Proactive Issue Detection

• Identify, document, and reproduce defects with clear steps.
• Partner with engineers to communicate issues and ensure quick resolution.

Continuous Process Improvement

• Optimize QA processes and tools to keep pace with rapid development.
• Introduce smarter tooling and advocate for usability best practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with product managers, designers, and engineers from feature inception to release.
• Ensure testability and quality are built in from the start.

Advocate for the User

• Raise the bar for UI/UX, accessibility, and performance.
• Champion empathy for real user experiences.

Requirements

Technical Skills & Experience

• Proven Experience: 3+ years in software QA/QE with manual and automated testing of modern web apps.
• Test Automation: Skilled with frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium; scripting in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
• Manual Testing Mastery: Detail-oriented, methodical, and curious.
• Bug Reporting: Excellent in creating clear, actionable reports; experience with Jira, Linear, Asana, etc.
• UI/UX Sensibility: Eye for design, usability, and accessibility.
• Frontend Familiarity: Can test SPAs, browser extensions, REST/GraphQL APIs; understand web architectures.
• CI/CD & Tooling: Comfortable with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern dev workflows.
• AI Enthusiasm (Bonus): Interest in AI tools for testing and monitoring.
