Project Planner
As a Project Planner, you’ll help deliver some of the world’s most complex construction projects by developing high-quality project plans that improve delivery performance and support better decision-making.
Working within our Project Planning Team, you’ll collaborate with project teams to develop planning strategies, analyse schedules, manage project performance, and create scalable planning solutions that improve outcomes across multiple projects.
Your Responsibilities
- Own project planning
- Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules for one or more construction projects.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and support the mitigation of delays.
- Ensure project teams actively work to the agreed project plan.
- Drive successful project delivery
- Help project teams understand priorities and align activities with project objectives.
- Influence stakeholders to adopt best planning practices and improve project performance.
- Provide clear reporting
- Create concise, actionable reports that support informed decision-making for stakeholders at all levels.
- Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities in an accessible and practical way.
- Develop scalable solutions
- Contribute to the development of repeatable planning methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Capture lessons learned to improve future project delivery and support technology development.
- Support continuous development
- Contribute to the professional development of colleagues and share planning expertise with clients.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Your Profile
- At least 2 years of experience working on construction projects.
- Experience with project planning principles and planning software.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and an interest in working with project data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and encourage the adoption of best practices.
- Strong self-leadership and the ability to guide others through effective questioning and constructive challenge.
- Demonstrated ability to improve projects, processes, or organisations through scalable and repeatable solutions.
