Location: Munich, Germany (Hybrid, Full-time)
Salary: €90,000 – €100,000 (annual gross, fixed range)
Stock Options: Up to €80,000
Travel: 0–2 days per month
Your Role
As Product Manager Team Lead, you drive the discovery and definition of product strategy for our AI-powered imaging solutions in fresh produce.
You combine individual contribution with leadership responsibilities, guiding a team of Product Managers and ensuring accountability for development outcomes.
- Lead product definition and delivery for our fresh produce imaging line
- Collaborate closely with business, engineering, and operations leads
- Translate user needs into clear product requirements and roadmaps
- Drive strong stakeholder alignment and impactful decision-making
Your Day-to-Day
- Lead and mentor Product Managers
- Engage customers to uncover product opportunities and pain points
- Plan resources and hiring strategy
- Improve PM tools and processes
- Define and refine features aligned with business goals
- Synchronize delivery schedules across customers and internal teams
- Communicate product status and roadmap updates clearly
- Secure stakeholder alignment for maximum business impact

- Strong qualitative & quantitative product discovery skills
- Fluent customer interviews in English and Spanish
- Experience in industrial automation & machine vision
- Ability to translate stakeholder feedback into development direction
- Creation of inspiring and aligned product roadmaps
- Solid knowledge of product management best practices
Leadership
- Align engineering priorities with company goals
- Balance user needs and technical feasibility
- Enable fast, informed decision-making
- Secure buy-in for tactical product execution
- Mentor diverse PMs, especially in hardware & automation domains
- Full accountability for product outcomes
Language Requirements
- Fluent in English and Spanish
What Makes You Stand Out
Leadership Expertise
- Experience managing Product Managers and/or Engineers
- Proven track record driving strategy for industrial automation products
Technological Expertise
- Experience in industrial automation within the food sector (fresh produce)
- Experience with grading machinery using vision sensors
- Experience achieving certification and compliance across EU, US, Asia, and/or LATAM
- Experience building complex software-hardware systems
Additional Languages (Plus)
- Fluency in Italian, Portuguese, and/or German
