Job Summary

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software and data systems. You’ll provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and ensure our systems meet business goals and industry standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Modernize and support the Finance Data Factory, transforming disconnected applications into a cohesive, modern platform.
  • Utilize both data engineering and software engineering stacks to build scalable, end-to-end platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define architectural patterns and data quality standards.
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement with a focus on delivering value to customers.

What You’ll Bring

  • Extensive experience with Java, Python, ML, microservices, and application architecture
  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases: BigQuery, Cosmos DB, Cassandra, Postgres
  • Experience with Kafka or similar high-volume, low-latency messaging infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of public cloud platforms and cloud-native services
  • Ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
  • A true passion for technology and continuous learning
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
