About the Role
As a Principal Decision Scientist – Marketing, you will lead the evolution of our marketing analytics function, transforming complex, cross-channel data into strategic insights that drive measurable business impact.
Working at the intersection of data science, marketing, and business strategy, you’ll shape advanced analytics capabilities, including experimentation frameworks, statistical modelling, and marketing measurement. You’ll partner closely with Marketing, Product, Finance, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams to enable smarter decision-making, optimize marketing investments, and accelerate commercial growth.

Your New Adventure
- Lead the design and execution of experimentation frameworks, including geo-based and holdout incrementality testing, to validate marketing investments at scale.
- Develop and evolve Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) capabilities, including model development, calibration, and budget allocation recommendations.
- Build advanced statistical models such as customer lifetime value (LTV) prediction, churn scoring, and audience segmentation.
- Architect and govern the marketing data layer, ensuring best practices for dbt modelling, data quality, and documentation.
- Lead cross-functional analytics initiatives addressing complex commercial and strategic challenges.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, executive-level recommendations that influence business strategy.
- Partner with Finance (FP&A) to align marketing efficiency metrics, budgeting frameworks, and unit economics such as CAC, LTV, and Payback Period.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Marketing Technology teams to define the long-term marketing data platform, ensuring high-quality tracking, instrumentation, and tooling.
- Champion the practical use of AI across analytics workflows, helping marketing teams leverage AI to improve efficiency and decision-making.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 8+ years in marketing analytics, decision science, or a similar advanced analytical role.
- Marketing Expertise: Deep knowledge of acquisition channels (Paid Search, Paid Social, SEO) and retention strategies (CRM, Lifecycle Marketing, Churn).
- Marketing Measurement: Proven experience building and deploying Marketing Mix Models (MMM) and incrementality testing frameworks, including geo-based, holdout, and synthetic control methodologies.
- Statistical Modelling: Strong expertise in predictive modelling, LTV analysis, causal inference, and predictive scoring techniques.
- Programming: Advanced proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis, modelling, automation, and production-quality code development.
- Artificial Intelligence: Practical experience using AI tools to improve analytical workflows and business decision-making.
- Data Engineering: Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience designing scalable data models using dbt within modern data platforms.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
- Business Acumen: Experience within high-growth SaaS or digital businesses with strong knowledge of CAC, LTV, Payback Period, and other commercial metrics.
- Leadership: Experience mentoring analysts, developing technical capabilities, and influencing stakeholder engagement.
- Additional Experience: Exposure to product analytics, growth functions, and organization-wide tooling or data infrastructure decisions is highly valued.
