Role Summary

As a PET Formulation Senior Process Engineer, you will provide technical expertise to formulation operations, leading problem-solving initiatives, technology transfers, and process improvements. You’ll be a Subject Matter Expert across multiple areas and will drive enhancements in quality, yield, and cost-efficiency.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide technical support for Formulation processes, including root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Identify and lead projects that improve quality, yield, material efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Automation, and Quality teams.
• Lead and execute process validations, technology transfers, and experimental design.
• Author and update batch records, SOPs, and support documentation.
• Serve as SME during audits and inspections.
• Train and mentor new engineers and interns.
• Lead scale-up and product implementation activities.
• Apply statistical tools like SPC and process capability analysis.
• Support troubleshooting for process and material-related quality issues.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience (or Master’s degree + 1 year).
• Strong knowledge of cGMPs, technical leadership, and project execution.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and implement complex projects successfully.

Desirable Skills

• Master’s degree.
• Experience in continuous manufacturing.
• Experience in OSD pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (certification preferred).
• Experience with IQ/OQ/PQ processes.
• Proficiency in SPC, process capability analysis, and risk assessments.
