People Strategy & Projects Lead

At KoRo, our People team is evolving alongside the business — and this role will play a key part in shaping what impactful and scalable People work looks like as we continue to grow.

As our People Strategy & Projects Lead, you will work closely with the VP People to design, improve, implement, and scale strategic People initiatives across the company.

This is not a traditional HR role. You will approach People topics through a project and strategy lens: identifying challenges, designing scalable solutions, piloting initiatives, rolling them out, and measuring their impact.

Rather than owning one operational area, you’ll work across multiple high-impact People initiatives and help build scalable structures for the future. Once frameworks and processes are successfully implemented, you’ll transition ownership to operational teams and move on to the next strategic priority.

What You Will Do

  • Professionalize core People processes including performance reviews, calibration cycles, compensation structures, salary bands, promotion frameworks, career pathing, onboarding, and learning & development initiatives.
  • Drive strategic People projects end-to-end — from diagnosis and concept development through implementation and impact measurement.
  • Act as a strategic sparring partner for the People function by structuring complex topics, preparing leadership decisions, building business cases, and translating strategic goals into actionable roadmaps.
  • Lead cross-functional People initiatives such as organizational design, workforce planning, competency frameworks, manager enablement, and job architecture.
  • Embed data-driven decision-making by building dashboards, benchmarks, compensation analyses, and headcount models that support evidence-based People decisions.
  • Drive change management initiatives to ensure adoption and integration of new processes into everyday workflows.

Your Profile

  • 3–6 years of professional experience, ideally with a strong consulting background in People/HR strategy, organizational development, or transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of core People topics including compensation & benefits, performance management, organizational design, and job architecture.
  • Highly analytical and structured approach with the ability to build models, analyze data, and derive actionable insights.
  • Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets and presenting information through clear slides, reports, and concise memos.
  • Pragmatic, execution-oriented mindset with the ability to balance speed and quality.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across leadership, managers, and People teams.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and values momentum over perfection.
  • Business-fluent English skills; German language skills are a plus.
