Senior Mobile Engineer

As part of our mobile engineering team, you will work on innovative features, scalable architectures, and high-quality applications while collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications across diverse platforms and technologies.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of mobile, backend, and frontend engineers to solve complex technical challenges.
• Take ownership of the entire feature lifecycle, including:
  • Concept and technical design
  • Implementation and testing
  • Release management
  • Monitoring and optimization
• Manage app releases and performance monitoring across:
  • Apple App Store
  • Google Play Store
• Contribute to the Kaufland e-commerce module within our retail application ecosystem.
• Collaborate with peers to improve development workflows, engineering standards, and application architecture.
• Work closely with Product Managers and Designers to create data-driven, hypothesis-based user experiences.
• Support the growth and development of the mobile engineering team by promoting collaboration, quality, and continuous learning.
• Evaluate and introduce innovative technologies, tools, and processes to enhance the mobile development lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in mobile application development using:
  • Swift
  • Kotlin
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles, including:
  • SOLID
  • DRY (Don’t Repeat Yourself)
• Hands-on experience with mobile architecture patterns such as:
  • MVVM
  • MVP
  • VIPER
• Experience designing and maintaining applications with modular architecture.
• Ability to work confidently within large and complex codebases.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• DevOps mindset with shared responsibility for deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and software reliability.
• Commitment to continuous process improvement and sustainable engineering practices.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
• Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to balance rapid delivery and long-term technical quality.
• Experience working in agile environments, including:
  • Scrum
  • Kanban
• Fluent English language skills (C1 level or higher).
• Enjoy working in an international and collaborative environment.
