Your Role

We’re looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer with expertise in web-tech-based game development for mobile platforms. In this impactful role, you’ll deliver cutting-edge game experiences and collaborate with developers to create truly immersive games. You’ll also work on large-scale A/B tests, feature innovations, and core infrastructure with cross-functional teams spanning product, design, and creative production.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to build engaging and accessible user experiences in mobile games.
• Develop and optimize mobile games using web technologies for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Implement and maintain WebGL and WebView functionalities to elevate game performance and UI fluidity.
• Architect performant, maintainable client code with documentation for use across teams.
• Experiment with innovative technologies and propose solutions to complex problems.
• Develop experimentation-driven product features and define design patterns for platform integrations.
• Ensure product quality with testable code and automated tests.

Who You Are

• Experienced Mobile Engineer with strong skills in Android or iOS and working proficiency in the other.
• Proficient with WebView and JSBridge for embedding web surfaces into mobile apps.
• Passionate about seamless, intuitive user experiences in gaming.
• Collaborative communicator who builds strong relationships across teams.
• Driven to grow personally and help others improve in a team environment.
• Experienced in the technical landscape of mobile game development.
• Dedicated to high performance, stability, and product quality.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with Unity or other proprietary game engines.
• Knowledge of web development engines like Phaser and Three.js.
• Familiarity with WebGL and WebGPU for browser-based experiences.
• Experience integrating 2D and 3D assets into interactive games.

Compensation

Compensation range: $100,000 – $720,000 (total compensation)

Netflix determines compensation based on market indicators, job function, skills, experience, and location. This role includes base salary, stock, and other benefits in line with our compensation philosophy.
