About the Role

We’re seeking a driven, analytical, and results-focused Manager, Business Development to join our rapidly expanding eCommerce team. This is a high-impact, client-facing role where you’ll partner with eCommerce brands to unlock growth using AppLovin’s powerful marketing platform.

You’ll build relationships with key decision-makers, guide performance strategies, and work cross-functionally with product and leadership teams to shape our eCommerce offering.

Key Responsibilities

• Pitch, onboard, and scale eCommerce brands on AppLovin’s advertising platform
• Engage CMOs and Heads of Marketing with a consultative, value-driven approach
• Act as a strategic advisor for your portfolio of clients, ensuring long-term success
• Analyze KPIs and performance data to optimize campaigns and deliver business outcomes
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Data Science) to ensure client success
• Represent AppLovin at industry events and conferences to drive awareness and growth
• Become an expert in AppLovin’s mobile ad products tailored for eCommerce brands

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in performance marketing, media buying, or digital strategy for eCommerce
• Strong grasp of KPIs, attribution models, and customer behavior analytics
• Experience with Shopify and DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) business models
• Strong analytical ability and big-picture thinking
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• Proven track record working with large data sets and deriving actionable insights
• Passion for technology, data, and performance-driven marketing

Preferred Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with a strong academic record
• Experience with Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, or Google Analytics
• Familiarity with CRO tactics, incrementality testing, and lifecycle marketing
• Mobile advertising experience
• Basic understanding of programming or scripting
• Interest in game theory, intelligent decision-making models, or similar fields
