Job Overview

Come join the Intuit Data Exchange (IDX) team as a Senior Development Manager for developing and managing services at a large scale. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our Document Comprehension and product strategies.

The IDX Document Comprehension team provides an AI-powered platform to extract information from financial documents uploaded by users or imported from financial institutions. This platform leverages cutting-edge technologies including Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLM), and goal-based Agentic AI.

As a leader of our platform teams, you will be responsible for driving technical leadership, delivering cutting-edge capabilities that can scale to hundreds of millions of Intuit customers.

You will work with a talented team of developers, designers, program managers, and product managers passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences. You will lead the development of our data exchange and document comprehension platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify innovation opportunities and drive new features will be key.

Responsibilities

  • Create shared vision and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Program Management, Business Analysts, and Product Management.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define problems, frame hypotheses, and translate business needs into impactful data science projects.
  • Oversee AI model deployment and maintenance to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Monitor model performance post-deployment and implement necessary adjustments or retraining.

Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or MS or equivalent experience in related fields (Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Applied Math, Operations Research).
  • 12+ years delivering software products with 3+ years as a technical leader of software engineering teams delivering platform services.
  • 5+ years designing and implementing robust, scalable, distributed platforms.
  • 2+ years industry experience with AI science.
  • Proven leadership in driving positive change, empowering teams, and fostering innovation.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to articulate product vision and roadmap.
  • Comfortable in Linux environments and experience with RAG technologies and LLM frameworks (Autogen, LangChain, LlamaIndex), LLM APIs, embedding models, vector databases, or custom agentic frameworks.
  • 1+ year experience in data mining algorithms and statistical modeling.
  • 8-12 years hands-on software development experience in cloud (AWS), machine learning, microservices, version control (Git/GitHub), workflows, GenAI technologies.
  • Experience writing production-ready code supporting millions of users.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and SaaS technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with pay-for-performance rewards, including cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits. Pay is based on knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Intuit promotes fair pay with regular equity comparisons.

Expected base pay range for Bay Area, California: $213,500 – $288,500
