Your Role
SOFTGAMES is looking for an Instant Games Developer to join our Platform team and elevate our games
with innovative new features on instant gaming platforms—delighting tens of millions of players each month.
You’ll bring our games to next-generation platforms such as Reddit, Discord, and future emerging
platforms, while keeping our live games running smoothly on established ecosystems.
You will own the full development cycle—from building and testing to shipping features for live games—
and collaborate closely with producers, artists, and fellow developers.

Your Responsibilities
- Develop new Instant Games and adapt existing titles for new platforms, reaching millions of players.
- Architect cross-platform solutions that allow games to run from a shared codebase.
- Integrate platform SDKs and manage platform-specific requirements and certification processes.
- Maintain and optimize live games, improving performance, load times, and bandwidth usage.
- Write robust, maintainable code and contribute to shared libraries.
- Estimate task complexity and create technical specifications.
- Share knowledge and actively support fellow developers.
Your Profile
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience shipping and maintaining games, ideally across multiple platforms.
- Strong knowledge of PixiJS and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in deep profiling and performance optimization of browser applications.
- Experience with modern build systems such as Vite or Webpack.
- Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable, and tested code.
- Comfortable working in legacy codebases and improving them.
- Experience with automated testing tools and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- A genuine passion for games—playing them, making them, and talking about them.
Nice to Have:
- Experience integrating third-party platform SDKs.
- Familiarity with cross-platform architecture patterns.
- Experience with Unity WebGL and/or Unity mobile projects.
- An open-minded, humble attitude and strong curiosity to learn.
