IFMS Engineer

As an IFMS Engineer, you will organize, plan and monitor the execution of preventive, corrective maintenance and repair of all utility installations in order to secure continuous production, high productivity, and excellent quality of utilities — while keeping costs minimized.

Day to Day

  • Ensure continuous operation and maintenance of utilities (electricity, steam, gas, water).
  • Optimize equipment performance to ensure energy efficiency.
  • Initiate and participate in equipment upgrades and modifications.
  • Ensure reporting aligns with local legislation and PMI procedures.
  • Interact with internal and external customers to understand quality expectations.
  • Ensure timely execution and reporting of IPM (Integrated Pest Management).
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, PMI QMS, AWS.
  • Manage maintenance activities and update related documentation.
  • Approve and oversee work requests within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Enforce safety compliance and coordinate energy inspections with Sustainability.
  • Implement findings from inspections and ensure adherence to technical standards.
  • Prepare utility cost analysis and assist in annual/LRP budget planning.
  • Drive productivity initiatives balancing cost, quality, service, and safety.
  • Monitor and report utility consumption and maintenance costs monthly.
  • Ensure equipment design changes are validated through change management processes.
  • Uphold all Change Management procedures and qualification processes.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical).
  • 2+ years in engineering, industrial environment, facility or utilities management.
  • Experience with AM, PM, FI, and WPI (L1 level preferred).
  • Strong background in asset and contractor management, and utilities equipment.
  • Advanced Excel skills, MS Project proficiency, and experience with AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of safety management best practices.

Annual Base Salary Range

$86,560 – $108,200
