The iPhone Engineering Program Management team at Apple is seeking a resourceful and energetic Engineering Project Specialist (EPS) to manage program logistics, materials, finances, and security. Ideal candidates will have experience with complex Bills of Materials (BOMs), documentation, and supplier coordination, and are ready to work hands-on in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Designers and EPMs to create and release BOMs for development builds
  • Manage part numbers, engineering change orders, technical drawings, and documentation
  • Drive material logistics with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and clear lead-time visibility
  • Coordinate shipping plans for both international and domestic builds
  • Execute Purchase-to-Pay activities: raise purchase requisitions, track invoices, manage PO logs, and approve receipts for small parts
  • Partner with PD EPM to manage and maintain small parts budget
  • Support multiple simultaneous projects and prioritize competing demands
  • Provide off-hours support via email, phone, or WebEx as needed
  • International travel may be required

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of supply chain, procurement, logistics, or supplier management experience
  • Experience with PLM and BOM structuring
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with configuration management and hardware product BOMs
  • Familiarity with PLM tools
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with vendors
  • Quick to learn new internal tools and systems
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Adaptable to shifting priorities and rapid changes

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay Range: $118,500 – $244,100 (dependent on skills, qualifications, experience, and location)

Additional Compensation:

  • Participation in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan and discretionary RSU awards
  • Eligibility for bonuses or commission payments (role-dependent)
  • Relocation support (if applicable)
