Electrical Engineer – Wiring & Harness Design (f/m/d)

Your Tasks

• Design and update 2D electrical systems and wiring harness diagrams for autonomous vehicles
• Define and document wiring, cabling, and technical specifications
• Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) with detailed component and supplier data
• Source components, work with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality hardware
• Oversee cost and performance metrics in line with technical requirements
• Assemble and install wiring harnesses, sensors, and electrical components in vehicles
• Run tests and diagnostics on electrical installations
• Improve and document processes for design, installation, and manufacturing
• Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards

Your Profile

• Experience designing 2D electrical systems and harness diagrams for vehicles
• Strong understanding of wiring, cabling, and technical documentation standards
• Hands-on experience creating and managing BOMs
• Ability to manage suppliers and hardware sourcing
• Skilled in cost/performance trade-offs in technical projects
• Practical experience in assembling vehicle wiring harnesses and running diagnostics
• Process-oriented mindset for continuous improvement
• Knowledge of automotive safety and compliance standards
