Director of Games

About the Role

As Director of Games, you will take ownership of our internal and external game development efforts—
from leveling up our existing portfolio to expanding our catalogue across genres.
This role sits at the unique intersection of our scaled integrated rewards platform
and our owned and operated casual games.

You will lead a team of game designers, producers, and developers while overseeing multiple
external development partners.
Your mission: level up one of the largest casual games portfolios to become an
industry-leading publisher.

Tasks

• Own the internal games roadmap: Design and lead prioritization of development and game acquisition initiatives
• Drive execution across the portfolio: Oversee the full development lifecycle, enabling scalable iteration and improvement across multiple titles
• Lead the team: Build, manage, and grow a high-performing group of producers, designers, and developers
• Define success: Establish and track KPIs across engagement, retention, monetization, and fun
• Champion creative rigor: Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous feedback
• Partner cross-functionally: Collaborate closely with the JustPlay product and engineering teams to ensure alignment on goals and delivery
• Be hands-on when needed: Participate in playtesting, provide design feedback, and jump into sprint planning when required

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in mobile gaming, with a focus on product or production roles
• Proven track record of leading teams across large game portfolios, ideally in hypercasual and casual genres
• Deep understanding of mobile game KPIs and user behavior in an ad-revenue-based context
• Strong leadership and project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams
• Excellent product sense and taste — you know what “good” looks like and how to get there
• Data-informed decision-maker who moves fast, experiments, and learns quickly
• A collaborative builder who thrives in lean, iterative environments

• Experience with Unity and modern game development pipelines
• Exposure to live ops and in-app purchases (IAPs)
