About the Role

Join us in shaping a new DevOps Product Management role at the intersection of DevOps and product management.

• Work on complex delivery challenges with clients
• Help build and evolve a new market offering
• Remote within Germany with ~2 days/week on-site at client locations

Your Responsibilities

• Drive platform and infrastructure initiatives to improve scalability, stability, and delivery effectiveness
• Analyze delivery systems and identify systemic bottlenecks (e.g. fragile releases, unclear ownership, low platform adoption)
• Treat DevOps capabilities as a product with clear vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Prioritize improvements for maximum impact on reliability and delivery speed
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Security, and Product teams
• Translate technical needs into structured requirements and backlogs
• Leverage modern DevOps toolchains (GitLab, ArgoCD, Jira, etc.)
• Contribute to building ARISE’s DevOps Product Management offering
• Establish credibility through hands-on work and expand into strategic delivery improvements

Job Requirements

• At least 2+ years experience in technical product management
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and delivery systems
• Experience analyzing complex systems and identifying process bottlenecks
• Understanding of developer and operator needs
• Familiarity with cloud-native and platform engineering concepts (e.g. Kubernetes, GitOps)
• Experience with CI/CD tools in modern environments
• Comfort working with security and compliance considerations
• Agile mindset with experience in Scrum or SAFe
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)
