What We’re Looking For

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to explore complex technical ecosystems and communicate clearly
• Solid programming experience and a willingness to learn new languages as needed (common tools include Python, C#, Scala, SQL)
• Deep understanding of cloud-based data architectures, ideally with Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Spark and the Hadoop ecosystem is a plus
• Comfortable working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Proven track record in building data processing pipelines and defining scalable data architectures
• 5+ years of experience in a similar data engineering role
• Experience working alongside data scientists and understanding their data needs
• Willingness to travel as needed for customer projects
• Proficiency in both English and German
