We are currently looking for an experienced Software / Python Backend Developer to join our growing team.

Your Tasks

  • Design and develop REST API interfaces for radar sensors and control units.
  • Take ownership of backend architecture and ensure high code quality through proper documentation and best practices.
  • Implement and integrate APIs within a microservices architecture.
  • Collaborate closely with UX experts and embedded engineers to ensure seamless integration of customer requirements.

Your Strengths

  • Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of hands-on experience in software development with strong expertise in Python 3, FastAPI, and Pytest.
  • Experience with technologies such as Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, Alembic migrations, and Ubuntu Linux.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and basic UI concepts.
  • Knowledge of messaging protocols such as MQTT is an advantage.
  • Strong experience with containerization using Docker, including Docker Compose and optimized image creation.
  • Proficiency with version control systems such as Git, SQL databases, web servers (e.g. NGINX), and configuration management tools.
  • Solid understanding of software quality assurance practices, including unit testing and integration testing.
  • Commitment to clean, maintainable code and experience using linters, CI pipelines, and automated testing tools.
  • Ability to work independently within agile development environments such as Scrum.
  • Comfortable working with physical devices during development and testing processes.
