We are looking for an Application Specialist (f/m/d) to join our team and act as the bridge between healthcare business needs and technology. In this role, you will optimise our applications, support users, and drive continuous improvements that enable efficient, reliable, and future-ready digital healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide application support, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure the smooth operation of business applications.
• Serve as the primary interface between business teams and IT to deliver effective application solutions.
• Configure, customise, and continuously optimise applications to support business processes.
• Manage application implementations, upgrades, integrations, and ongoing enhancements.
• Deliver user training and maintain clear documentation to support effective application usage.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams, external vendors, and key stakeholders on projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor application performance while ensuring compliance with security, quality, and operational standards.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in application management, application support, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including key stakeholders and market dynamics.
• Solid knowledge of databases and APIs.
• Excellent written and spoken English; German language skills are advantageous.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• Analytical, strategic, and solution-oriented mindset with strong business acumen.
• Collaborative team player with excellent networking and cross-functional collaboration skills.
