About the Team

The AI Enablement Team drives the adoption of AI capabilities across Raisin’s products and internal platforms.

The team establishes scalable, reliable, and secure foundations for AI in production by delivering shared tools, best practices, and reusable solutions. Working closely with engineering teams, they integrate AI into existing systems while ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards.

From streamlining internal workflows to enabling innovative customer-facing products, the team identifies opportunities where AI delivers measurable business value.

Your Responsibilities

  • Enable AI adoption across engineering teams
    • Partner with product and engineering teams to identify and refine AI use cases.
    • Guide teams in integrating AI capabilities into products and workflows.
    • Provide practical advice on architecture, implementation patterns, and trade-offs.
    • Promote reusable solutions and consistent engineering practices.
  • Develop shared AI capabilities
    • Build or enhance shared components, services, and integrations that enable AI adoption.
    • Design and implement scalable patterns for integrating Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities.
    • Create lightweight services that simplify AI access across multiple teams.
    • Manage AI platform costs and optimize shared model usage.
    • Support retrieval-based solutions that make internal knowledge accessible for AI applications.
  • Guide technical decision-making
    • Evaluate AI tools, platforms, and technologies for scalability, maintainability, and security.
    • Help teams determine when AI is the right solution based on business needs.
    • Contribute to pragmatic and consistent AI engineering standards.
  • Ensure responsible and reliable AI implementation
    • Optimize AI performance through effective model selection, latency improvements, and token efficiency.
    • Support the implementation of safeguards, including access controls, validation, and monitoring.
    • Collaborate with Security, Legal, and other stakeholders to ensure compliant AI solutions.
    • Help establish best practices that ensure robust, secure, and maintainable AI systems.

Your Profile

Background

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on backend or platform development.
  • Strong generalist mindset with the ability to work across multiple technical domains.
  • Experience building and supporting production systems.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred; JVM languages also welcomed).
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and system integration.

AI Experience

  • Hands-on experience working with AI platforms or LLM APIs.
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering, context engineering, retrieval-based approaches, and AI-powered workflows.
  • Ability to evaluate where AI creates meaningful value and where traditional solutions are more appropriate.
