AI Automation Engineer

About the Role

quantilope is seeking an AI Automation Engineer to bridge the gap between technical and operational excellence across the organization. As our internal automation specialist, you will work closely with the Operations team and business functions such as Customer Success, Sales, People & Culture, and others to identify inefficiencies in day-to-day work and business processes.

You will design and implement workflow automations that eliminate manual work by reducing process complexity, automating repetitive tasks, and leveraging AI prompting techniques and agentic workflows. You will actively promote a culture of continuous improvement through automation and AI across the company.

What You Will Be Doing

Core Responsibilities

Cross-Functional Process Discovery

• Partner with the revenue operations team, department heads, and team leads to identify automation opportunities
• Document current business processes and workflows using BPMN or UML
• Prioritize automation initiatives based on business impact

Automation Development

• Design and build workflow automations using AI-driven technologies
• Work with automation platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar tools

Integration Management

• Maintain and optimize integrations across core platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, and Google Workspace
• Ensure integrations are reliable, secure, and scalable

Documentation & Training

• Create comprehensive documentation for all automations
• Train team members on new processes, tools, and technologies

Strategic Impact

Promote Automation & AI

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and automation across departments
• Create awareness, provide training, and demonstrate the tangible value of AI and automation solutions

Business Process Consulting

• Act as an internal consultant to evaluate and recommend process improvements beyond automation

ROI Measurement

• Define and track metrics such as time savings, error reduction, and productivity gains
• Measure and communicate the impact of automation initiatives

Who You Are

Technical Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with workflow automation platforms (e.g. n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar)
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and system integrations
• Basic knowledge of DevOps concepts, including version control, deployment practices, and infrastructure fundamentals

Business Skills

• Proven ability to analyze complex business workflows and identify optimization opportunities
• Excellent stakeholder management skills when collaborating with non-technical teams
• Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously with clear prioritization
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for business audiences and business needs into technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in SaaS or technology companies
• Background in business analytics or product management
• Basic SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
• Experience with core platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, Personio, or similar systems
