Your Role: Account Executive (m/f/d) – International Markets

As an Account Executive at Greenbone, you will grow our international presence and help customers secure their IT landscape against external threats. You’ll be part of a highly motivated team in a fast-growing, international environment.

You’ll work closely with prospects to address their IT security challenges and guide them on their journey to better security and compliance.

Your Mission

  • Utilize our open-source community to convert international prospects into customers
  • Create and execute your growth plan for international markets
  • Proactively identify and acquire new customers through outbound sales
  • Drive the sales process from lead generation to deal closure
  • Occasional international travel for customer visits and trade fairs
  • Clearly communicate Greenbone’s value proposition
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver the best solutions

What You Offer

  • Several years of experience in selling B2B software (full sales cycle), ideally in IT security
  • A passion for acquiring new customers and uncovering opportunities
  • Consulting experience at the decision-making level on complex IT solutions
  • Use of advanced sales tools and methods to achieve goals
  • Full business proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus

  1. Initial meeting with the Talent Acquisition Team (30–45 minutes)
  2. Interview with the Hiring Manager and Peer (approx. 60 minutes)
  3. Final interview with Department Lead or C-Level (approx. 60 minutes)
