About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer (Frontend) who is passionate about building outstanding user experiences and shaping product strategy alongside engineering excellence.

At epilot, engineers are more than developers—they are product builders. You’ll take ownership of your work from concept through production, collaborate closely with designers and product managers, and help deliver high-quality software that solves real customer problems.

Your Responsibilities

  • Frontend Development
    • Develop and enhance modern React applications.
    • Implement responsive user interfaces based on UX wireframes and designs.
  • Software Quality
    • Write unit and end-to-end tests.
    • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
  • Product Development
    • Contribute to the design of new features and the improvement of existing functionality.
    • Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with backend engineers, frontend engineers, designers, and product teams.
    • Help continuously improve the epilot platform.
  • Technology
    • Work with modern technologies including micro-frontends, serverless AWS infrastructure, and automated development workflows.

Your Profile

  • Professional Experience
    • 4–5+ years of professional JavaScript development experience.
  • Frontend Expertise
    • Strong experience with React, including Hooks, routing, and state management.
    • Solid knowledge of ES6, TypeScript, Webpack, and ESLint.
    • Experience building responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML and CSS.
  • Nice to Have
    • Experience with GraphQL, Node.js, or AWS.
    • Experience working within an eCommerce environment.
  • Software Engineering
    • Understanding of cloud and application security principles.
    • Passion for building secure, reliable, and scalable software.

Your First 180 Days

Week 1

  • Pair with colleagues and deliver your first contribution.
  • Learn about our customers, products, and business goals.
  • Build relationships within your team.

Month 1

  • Take ownership of a feature from refinement through delivery.
  • Gain a solid understanding of the codebase and system architecture.
  • Develop enough domain knowledge to actively contribute to product decisions.

Months 3–6

  • Become the technical owner of your product domain.
  • Deliver measurable improvements in areas such as adoption, reliability, performance, or revenue.
  • Work autonomously while knowing when to collaborate.
  • Raise engineering standards through code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
