About the Role

We’re looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to join our growing sales team in Berlin or Munich. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within a defined enterprise territory.

You’ll manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and closing—while partnering with Solution Engineers, Marketing, SDRs, and Customer Success teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience and drive business growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Generate Pipeline: Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification.
  • Own the Sales Cycle: Lead opportunities from initial discovery through product demonstrations, commercial negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Deliver Customer Value: Understand customer business challenges and align New Relic’s observability platform with their strategic objectives.
  • Maintain Accurate Forecasts: Manage opportunities within Salesforce, ensuring accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and sales documentation.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Sales Engineers, Sales Development Representatives, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to maximize win rates and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Bring

  • Sales Experience: Proven success in quota-carrying enterprise sales, ideally within SaaS, Cloud, DevOps, or related technology markets.
  • Business Development: Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and close new logo opportunities.
  • Sales Methodologies: Familiarity with modern enterprise sales frameworks such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, Command of the Message, or similar methodologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical audiences and executive stakeholders.
  • Languages: Fluent German and English are required.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
