Senior IT Project & Process Manager (m/f/d)
As a Senior IT Project & Process Manager, you will play a strategic role at the intersection of IT delivery and business process excellence.
You will lead complex IT initiatives within a SAFe environment while designing, governing, and continuously improving end-to-end business processes across vehicle commercialisation and after-sales domains. In addition, you’ll help integrate new business models, such as MOIA, into the existing Volkswagen Group systems and operational landscape.
This position offers the opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, shaping both project execution and enterprise process excellence.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead strategic IT initiatives
- Own SAFe Epics throughout their full lifecycle, from ideation and planning through implementation and value realization.
- Drive complex IT projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Drive business process excellence
- Design, govern, and continuously improve end-to-end business processes across sales and after-sales functions.
- Establish process standards and governance frameworks that support operational excellence.
- Support enterprise integration
- Ensure the successful integration of the MOIA business model into existing Volkswagen Group systems and operational processes.
- Coordinate system, process, and organizational changes across multiple business areas.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery
- Manage stakeholders, project dependencies, release planning, testing activities, and risk mitigation.
- Facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Establish governance and collaboration standards
- Develop and maintain governance models, process ownership structures, and clear responsibilities.
- Own and continuously improve Jira and Confluence governance to enable efficient collaboration and high-quality documentation.
Your Profile
- Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
- Significant experience managing complex IT projects and programs within enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in business process management, process modelling, and governance, including BPMN.
- Proven experience working within SAFe, ideally as an Epic Owner or in a comparable leadership role.
- Experience integrating new business solutions into existing enterprise system landscapes.
- Advanced knowledge of Jira and Confluence in enterprise-scale environments.
- Experience within the automotive industry or Volkswagen Group is considered a strong advantage.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage complex initiatives.
