Your Mission
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will build and own the infrastructure
backbone that powers our platform—from a fast-moving multi-tenant AWS environment to customer-hosted
deployments in VPCs, on-premise environments, and legacy enterprise ecosystems.
You will design systems that support today’s engineering team while scaling for future growth,
ensuring environmental and digital product data remain reliably accessible not just for years,
but for the entire lifespan of the buildings they support.
What You Will Work On
Your First 6 Months

Harden the AWS Foundation
- Audit and improve our multi-tenant AWS architecture.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines, observability, and deployment reliability.
- Establish production-grade infrastructure standards.

Build the Operational Backbone
- Introduce incident management and on-call practices.
- Create alerting pipelines, status pages, runbooks, and automated remediation workflows.
- Build an operational culture that supports long-term reliability.

Improve Customer Deployment Models
- Design scalable deployment patterns for customer VPC and on-premise environments.
- Reduce custom implementation effort while maintaining flexibility.

Build the Enterprise Integration Layer
- Develop secure and reliable connectivity patterns.
- Integrate with ERP, procurement, compliance, and legacy enterprise systems.

Architect for Permanence
- Design digital product passport hosting infrastructure for decades-long availability.
- Ensure stable URLs, data integrity, and long-term sustainability.
- Support an operational model targeting 99.99% uptime.

What You Should Bring
Minimum Requirements

Cloud Infrastructure Expertise
- 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, operating, and optimizing multi-tenant cloud infrastructure.
- Experience ensuring secure and segregated customer environments.

Programming Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust, or similar high-level languages.

Infrastructure as Code
- Expert knowledge of OpenTofu or Terraform.
- Experience managing cloud and hybrid infrastructure at scale.
- Ability to maintain fully reproducible and auditable environments.

CI/CD & Deployment Automation
- Experience designing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, FluxCD, and automated deployment workflows.
- Supporting both cloud-native and customer-hosted environments.

Enterprise Systems Integration
- Experience integrating with ERP systems, legacy APIs, and manufacturing platforms.
- Knowledge of secure data synchronization and enterprise connectivity patterns.

Infrastructure Operations & Security
- Advanced Linux administration skills.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud security hardening and troubleshooting complex production environments.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Experience implementing and maintaining
ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II compliance frameworks.
