The Team

The Global IT Team at SoundCloud is responsible for enabling productivity, collaboration, compliance, and security across the organization.
The team supports employees globally by providing technical assistance and maintaining reliable IT systems and workflows.

We are currently looking for an IT Working Student based in our Berlin office to provide hands-on and remote IT support to employees across the company.

The Role

As an IT Working Student, you will handle incoming technical support requests, analyze issues, and collaborate with the IT team to deliver effective solutions.
You are motivated by problem-solving and committed to ensuring that every issue is fully resolved and every stakeholder is satisfied with the outcome.

This role is ideal for someone studying a computer science-related field who enjoys working with people, learning continuously, and taking ownership of technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support:
  Provide hands-on and remote IT support for employees across multiple departments and locations.
• Issue Resolution:
  Analyze incoming support requests and collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• User Assistance:
  Ensure all employee questions are answered clearly and support cases are resolved with a high level of satisfaction.
• System Troubleshooting:
  Debug and resolve issues related to Mac OSX, Windows systems, and workplace technologies.
• Continuous Learning:
  Stay curious and adaptable while learning new tools, systems, and technologies.

What We’re Looking For

• Educational Background:
  Currently studying a computer science-related field at a German university.
• Technical Interest:
  Strong enthusiasm for technology and problem-solving.
• Operating System Experience:
  Previous experience working with Mac OSX and Windows environments.
• Self-Starter Mentality:
  Comfortable taking initiative, solving problems independently, and assuming responsibility.
• Communication Skills:
  Enjoy working with people and providing user-focused technical support.
• Bonus Skills:
  Programming experience or prior experience working in a technical service desk environment is considered a plus.
• Eligibility:
  Must be eligible to work in the European Union.
